Drywall Construction in Chiavari Residential Complex

A Cutting-Edge Project in the Construction Sector

In the Levante Ligure area, in Chiavari, we had the opportunity to build one of the first buildings to be constructed entirely using the drywall system, a cutting-edge technology that combines sustainability, high performance, and speed of execution. In this project, we adopted advanced solutions to ensure thermal and acoustic insulation, energy efficiency, and aesthetic quality, confirming our expertise in the drywall construction sector.

Initial client requirements

This construction method, which does not use traditional masonry, required the use of metal framing and gypsum board panels that allowed us to:

  • Reduce the weight of the structure
  • Optimize construction time
  • Ensure high thermal and acoustic insulation performance—essential in this case especially—for a building located just a few meters from the railway.

Technical approach and completed implementations

Advanced Construction Solutions

We handled the entire external envelope of the building, as well as the construction of:

  • Internal partition walls between apartments and within each unit
  • Suspended ceilings, which allowed us to integrate and conceal the load-bearing structures
  • External thermal insulation, installed using certified solutions to ensure high energy efficiency standardsFurthermore, as certified installers and official Saint-Gobain partners, we used certified Gyproc layered systems, guaranteeing professional installation to ensure maximum quality and safety.
