Bespoke design and acoustic comfort thanks to dry construction solutions
For Hotel Monterosa, a historic property in the heart of Chiavari, we managed a renovation project aimed at enhancing key areas of the hotel through the use of bespoke dry construction solutions, designed to improve both aesthetics and functionality.
For the restyling of Hotel Monterosa in Chiavari, we were brought in for an intervention that would combine elegance, comfort, and functionality.
The goal was to enhance key areas of the hotel (such as the breakfast area and guest rooms) with bespoke drywall work that would guarantee a refined aesthetic result and maximum acoustic comfort for guests. It was also essential to make the most of natural light while maintaining welcoming and modern environments.
Breakfast area: natural light and architectural details
The first phase of the project focused on the breakfast area: we installed wall linings with backlit decorative niches that combine functionality and style, enhancing the room with light effects.
The false ceiling was designed to perfectly integrate the existing Velux windows, ensuring natural light enters from above while maintaining even lighting throughout the space.
To divide the room, we created partially glazed drywall pillars, which define the spaces without weighing them down visually, promoting a sense of lightness and modernity.
Renovated rooms: acoustic comfort and integrated lighting
Our intervention also included the guest rooms, where false ceilings were installed to integrate lighting, air conditioning, and curtain tracks, all hidden within specially designed niches.
We also upgraded several partition walls to increase soundproofing between rooms, ensuring a high level of acoustic comfort for guests.
